Yehudi “Gaf” Gaffen has more than 35 years of construction and program management experience. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Management from the University of Cape Town, South Africa. Throughout his professional career, Gaf has worked for construction companies, construction managers and real estate developers. He has personally managed projects ranging from less than one million dollars to billions of dollars in construction value. Gaf currently serves on the board of the San Diego Regional Economic Development Corporation, Foundation for Grossmont and Cuyamaca Colleges, Meridian Residential Association and Wende Museum Advisory Group. He has previously served on the boards of San Diego Taxpayers Association, San Diego Hebrew Homes, San Diego Jewish Federation, the Explorer Charter School, New Americans Immigration Museum and Learning Center, and the UCSD Cancer Center. Gaf has been an avid endurance athlete since high school. He currently enjoys indoor cycling, golf, working out, fly fishing and bow hunting. His hobbies include collecting tribal art and antique maps as well as adventure traveling.
